Anti-Wrinkle / Muscle Relaxant Injections

Muscle relaxing injections are formed from a toxin known as (Botulinum Toxin).

At Grosvenor Medical we only stock products that we trust and rely upon such as those supplied by leading pharmaceutical companies Galderma, Allergan and Merz Pharma such as BOTOX®, Azzalure®, Bocouture®, Xeomin® and Dysport®.

The Botulinum Toxin injections work by blocking nerve impulses to muscles injected during the course of the treatment. This reduces the muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form.

Botulinum Toxin has been used for cosmetic purposes since 1990 and has been used in many millions of treatments performed worldwide.

Botulinum Toxin injections are a non-surgical, non-permanent treatment option with the results expected to be seen in 3-7 days post treatment with optimum results to be expected at 2 weeks post treatment.

The smoothing effects of the initial treatment typically lasts for 3 – 5 months however may vary amongst individuals. In order to maintain the treatment effects it is recommended that regular 3 monthly treatments are preformed during the first year as the optimum results are obtained if the next treatment is performed before the effects of the previous treatment has worn off.

With repeated treatments it is expected that the relaxed and softened effects will last longer providing greater patient satisfaction.

The following areas are most commonly treated:

• Frown area between your eyebrows (the glabellar region)

• Forehead lines

• Crows feet (lines on your outer eye area)

• Perioral lines (smokers / lipstick lines)

• Marionette lines

• Platysmasl bands (neck bands)

Injectable Dermal Fillers

Injectable dermal fillers are a non-surgical treatment frequently used for aesthetic purposes such as correcting smile lines, marionette lines, tear troughs and nasolabial folds.

Dermal fillers are also commonly used as a non-surgical technique to aesthetically enhance and add volume to facial features and the ageing face. The most popular treatments are lip augmentation and adding facial volume lost during the ageing process helping to re-define the jawline and cheekbones.

At Grosvenor Medical we use only the finest leading range of dermal fillers such as the Juvéderm® and Restylane® we have personally selected the products we use within our clinics based on the heritage, clinical data and most importantly the safety and patient satisfaction.

Dermal Fillers are designed to plump out lines, wrinkles and folds as well as being used to build up and sculpt the facial contours.

They area all made from (HA) cross-linked hyaluronic acid which is naturally occurring within the human body.

Again Dermal Filler injections are a non-surgical, non-permanent treatment option. Results are witnessed immediately although results are not completely permanent they may last up to 9-12 months with some products used lasting up to 18 months.

Repeat treatments are required if you wish to maintain your results.
